Once a boy came running home,
Panting as if he ran straight from Rome...
His face was all covered up with fright,
Somehow the boy managed to gather his might...
With watery eyes he looked up to the mirror,
In front of him was his most patient listener....
His sorrows seemed to flow out like river,
The words also seemed to have developed a shiver.....
After a while there was a complete silence,
As if he developed a feeling of reverence.......
Then at last when he broke his silence,
The words were showing signs of credence....
He started to believe in himself,
Understanding the fact that biggest competition of his is he himself......
Those watery eyes were now crystal clear,
Without any hesitation sans any fear.....


This is the situation one always faces in life,
With ourselves only, we be at strife.......
Learn the way the boy handled his griefs,
Coz nothing is greater then self-belief........

Waadein kiye the jo unho ne,

Majboori rahi hogi unki bhi,

Yahi soch apne dil ko behlaay ja raha hu.

Fir kabhi na kisi se dil lagana,

Yahi seekh aaj liye ja raha hu.

Shabdo ko sahara le raha hu,

Ye haal-e-dil sunaye ja raha hu.

Aaj fir ye kalam utha raha hu,

Dard dil ka likhe ja raha hu.
